Description

The Island of San Giuliano still has some agricultural activities flanked by the fish farming in the valle and accommodation for guests. Underground, some excavations have revealed the presence of what is considered to be an old Roman road that might have been the one leading to the major crossroads of Ponte d'Orlando, which, on the Via Annia, led from Concordia Sagittaria to Aquileia.
